TEDxYouthDay events commemorate United Nations Universal Children’s Day while addressing pressing issues pertaining to youth across multiple disciplines.

Last year, Doha one was one of eleven Arab cities joining 102 cities across the world in celebrating the potential of youth.

TEDxYouth@Doha is a youth-focused cutting-edge, bilingual and accessible conference. The second annual edition will be held on Nov. 17th, 2012.

New Qatar-based Initiative ‘Laysh’ Mixes Reading, Social Media, and Film

Laysh (“ليش”) is a newly launched project from Bloomsbury Qatar Foundation Publishing (BQFP) and TedXYouth@Doha that aims to open a discussion about reading among teens and young adults in Arabic and English. The film-based project was born during a collaborative brainstorming session between TEDxYouth@Doha and BQFP.
